Look at the top for the logo for my blog that I created today! google images search results, microsoft powerpoint 2010 and some trial and error hopefully made my site more appealing!  Comment on how you think it looks, any changes I should make, ect.

Nerf gun of the day 1-24-11

Todays is the nerf vulcan.  It is a heavy, full-auto blaster that uses a belt and has a tripod, many tactical railings, and has a single shot mode.

A great gun overall but it is a bit expensive and is extremely heavy!  If you have the strength to dual wield these bad-boys, you will send your opponents running in a nerf war before you even start shooting!

Nerf Gun of the day 1-23-11

Todays nerf gun of the day is the reactor.  It is one of the ball blasters and is not too good.  It comes with 4 ballistic balls and the blaster.  Not much more to say about this gun, ratings are below.

New nerf n-force products!

Nerf Gun of the day 1-22-11

Todays nerf gun of the day is the recon!  It is a good gun that takes clips, and comes with many parts that you can put together and then re-arrange them!  It comes with the recon gun, stock, barrel, flip-up sight, red dot laser pointer, a 6-dart clip, and 6 streamlines!

Today we will go to dart tag and go to the stormfire!  It is a single shot nerf dart tag gun that comes in the capture the flag set.It can store up to 4 extra darts in a slot on the trigger, and 3 slots on the front of the gun.

Nerf Gun of the day 1-20-11

Today's nerf gun of the day is the nerf raider.  It is a shotgun-gripped, pump action, slam fire blaster that takes clips, but comes with a 35 dart drum; the largest capacity of any nerf gun so far.  It also comes with a stock that can interchange with the recon stock.

A great gun for you to get.  30 dollars gets you a drum, a stock, an awesome blaster, and with some value packs at toys r us, 70 darts!!!

Nerf Gun of the day 1-19-11

Todays nerf gun is a dart tag gun!  It is the hyperfire.  It is a 10-shot revolving gun that has a handle with the trigger and a handle in front of that.  It comes in a pack now with the nerf glasses, the gun, and 10 tagger darts.

An ok blaster but not the best dart tag or regular nerf gun that Nerf has created.

N-Strike's new logo???

I was looking at my barrel break a day ago and then looked at my old recon and saw the difference in the n-strike logo!
Here is the old logo in the upper right hand corner:

Now compare it to the new logo in the bottom right hand corner:

The old logo is much more detailed than the new one that just has a bolt going through it, no "enlist, engage, enforce" crap going around it and no lines through the middle!
I dont know why nerf did this, but im fine with it, it gives my collection a new more futuristic feel to it.

Nerf Gun of the day 1-18-11

Today's nerf gun of the day is the Firefly!
It is an 8-round blaster that shoots glow in the dark darts that are "glow charged" by a flash as you pull the trigger.  This gun is very much like a larger 8 shot version of a maverick.

The ratings for this gun are as follows:
range:  2(with the firefly darts, it sucks.  But with streamlines, it gets 45 feet!)
looks:  4

Intimidation:  4
Price:  2(not really worth the 20 dollars unless you plan to pick up a pack of streamlines as well!)

Not the best nerf gun out there, but may be a good choice as a backup if you use streamlines!

Nerf Gun of the day 1-17-11

Todays nerf gun of the day is the secret strike AS-1.  This gun is a tiny, compressed air gun that is a pretty good deal for the price.  It takes about 13 or 14 pumps to fill it totally, then you can launch a nerf suction dart(or any dart, it comes with 2 suctions) about 30 feet.  Thats very good considering it is a 3 dollar, fit-in-your-palm gun!

Nerf Gun of the day 1-16-11

So, i have decided to make a new series called the nerf gun of the day.  As the title implies, there will be a nerf gun featured here every day and i will do a quick review on the gun.  So here we go

1/16/11:  Todays nerf gun of the day is the barrel break IX-2.  It is a dual barrel shotgun created by Nerf and comes with the barrel break, an ammo rail that holds 8 darts, and 10 whistler darts.

The approximate ranges of my barrel break are about 30 to 35 feet stock.  I have not modded mine but i have seen some good mads out there.  My ratings are(out of 5):

Not too bad considering this is Nerf's first shotgun.  I am hoping there will be more nerf shotguns to come in the future!
